Ines Rasbach (recorder) studied the recorder with Sabine Bauer and Michael Schneider in Frankfurt a.M. and with Thera de Clerck and Han Tol in Rotterdam.
With the recorder ensemble Trio Diritto (founded in 1989) she was awarded the first prize at the prestigious Internationaler Blockflötenwettbewerb Calw (Germany). Trio Diritto has made CD recordings for the labels Moeck and Cybele. With the recorder quartet Carré, Ines Rasbach won the first prize in the Orpheus-wedstrijdvoor hedendaagse kamermuziek in Antwerp in 1997. In 1998 the ensemble won the third prize in the Internationaler Wettbewerb für junge Kultur (Düsseldorf).
Ines Rasbach has given concerts with Musica Antiqua Köln, CascoPhil and Ex Tempore as well as during the Tage Alter Musik Herne, Oberstdorfer Musiksommer, Blockflute Festival De Ysbreker Amsterdam, Cluster Festival Thüringen and the Blockflötensymposion Karlsruhe. She played numerous first performances by composers such as Violeta Dinescu, Carola Bauckholt, Rolf Riehm, Thomas Bruttger, Caspar Johannes Walter, György Kurtág .
